I lose hope in communication
Messages unsent, voice deserts me…
.
I do not choke on hiccups any more
I guess, you don’t think of me…
I hope to see you in my dreams
But sleep eludes me….
I thought the mirror would show respect
But it disdainfully ignores me….
I wish somebody had told me this
Love is an incurable disease ….

I guess this one must have been tough to translate – the lines were too tied to symbology and metaphors in Hindi language poems… but you managed it well…

Yes. It was. The concept of ‘hichki’ as being remembered, may not connect with other cultures. Thanks!
