English translation
If there is no darkness, just delay
Why’s that person not yet mine?
Why doesn’t the night pass away
Why is my house dark, not thine?
I was dear to them some day
face in their frames is not mine
Why did I let them move away?
One can stop life, but not time…
Who is not a pawn of fate?
If you lost a game, why whine?

The idea in the first stanza seems oxymoronic… more so in English… Also, I realize that I ought not have used Andhera (darkness) instead of Andher (Injustice)… I guess, it’s better to sacrifice rhyming than the meaning…

Helped me 🙂 Andher is difficult to translate in English.

I don’t know why this reminded me of “Mera Kutta Kutta, Twada Kutta Tommy” 🙂
