my ears ache to hear
when I see her lips quiver
only a whisper
I’m keeping crossed my fingers
it is my name that lingers
Till you came along
small dreams, humble needs
ordinary man was I
till you came along
now I want to own the world
to impress you, to woo you
Digitally yours
I am at work now
digitally connected
to your memories
listening to music that
I may survive through the day
The cycle
I’m waiting for her
anger to evaporate
so she may shower
all her love on me again
like water on thirsty earth
Clouded spring
she is meeting him
a cloud of doubt passed her brow
is he the right one
she remembers their first kiss
there’s a spring in her step now

Sweet nothings
do you remember
sweet nothings I said to you
don’t fret if you don’t
indeed, they mean nothing now
to me, they are still as sweet
Understanding
I will understand
if you forget me fully
not easy for me
for you I was distraction
to me you are everything
Faking it
how do I begin
the charade of forgetting
times I spent with you
when I clearly remember
each thing that didn’t happen
Your picture & you
don’t take it to heart
your picture is no great shakes
compared to real you
it only speaks thousand words
you are my life history
Fire & Rain
when will you shower
like a benevolent rain
on my whole being
it’s burning with hot desire
like a straw hut on fire
